Built in 1976 at the J & J Harrison yard at Amble by Master Coble Builder Hector Handyside for Dave Wharton of Whitby.
She was built on the lines of a typical “Yorkshire” sailing coble, even though built in Northunberland, and at 26 foot in length.
She was involved in PR work with Dave Wharton, visiting Brest and Douarnenez Sailing Festivals in France and also went to Australia for the Bicentennial Celebrations in 1988 a courtesy lift gratefully provided by P&O shipping.
After changing ownership and spending some years in Scarborough, she was bought by the Bridlington Sailing Coble Preservation Society in 2015 and can be seen sailing during the season most weekends.
In February 2022 she returned to the Bridlington boat workshop for routine maintenance and a spruce up of her paint. Returned to the harbor the same month she awaits the arrival of fairer weather for sailing.
